Legelata’s team is involved in a complex Intellectual Property litigation issue, which has an international character and is assessed as a multimillion dispute.
The trademark “Moskovskaya” and “Stolichnaya” have been the state’s property since the Soviet Union era. However, during the collapse of USSR the rights over those trademarks were lost and obtained by a foreign private company. The situation was restored later in Russian Federation and other countries (Netherlands, Georgia and others) where the trademarks are currently hold by a Russian state company.
The dispute between the Russian state and the foreign companies still continue in a number of other countries, including Armenia. Our team of lawyers led by Gor Margaryan and Alla Hakhnazaryan are currently handling the issue in the local courts of Armenia based on existing historical and legal facts.
